Office Hysteroscopy
Direct Evaluation of the Uterus
Hysteroscopy is a minimally invasive gynecological procedure that allows direct visualization of the uterine cavity and cervical canal. It is a key diagnostic tool in certain cases of female infertility, as it helps identify—and often treat—uterine abnormalities that may interfere with embryo implantation or the normal development of pregnancy.
During hysteroscopy, a very thin lens connected to a camera is inserted through the vagina and cervix into the uterine cavity, allowing the specialist to visualize the inside of the uterus in real time.
This procedure is useful to detect—and often treat—conditions such as:

Endometrial polyps.

Submucosal fibroids.

Uterine adhesions or synechiae.

Uterine malformations.(septate uterus)
