Receive information in an understandable and clear language about everything related to your diagnosis and treatment alternatives, including procedures, probabilities of success, costs and risks.

Decide on their participation in medical studies and/or research, understanding the objectives, methods, possible benefits and risks, and being able to withdraw voluntarily at any time.

Receive warm, dignified and human treatment independent of their beliefs, customs, ideology, origin, economic condition or educational level.

Make informed decisions about their treatment based on the information provided by the specialists of the institution.

Request professional information from specialists and choose which of them you prefer to be served.

Request support for the reading and signing of contracts and consents.

Submit your claims, suggestions or complaints, and receive a formal and timely response from the institution.

They have a duty to:

Correctly deliver your personal and partner data (if applicable), and provide reliable information about your health and medical history.

Properly comply with the medical indications delivered by specialists and assistance personnel for the proper development of their treatment.

Assume responsibility for non-compliance with medical indications and/or administrative commitments.

Report to specialists or assistance personnel if you have symptoms or changes in your health.

Give respectful treatment to all the personnel who provide a service throughout their process, as well as to other patients and their companions.

Comply with the assigned schedules for appointments and procedures, and inform beforehand if you cannot attend.

Responsibly comply with the administrative commitments derived from carrying out their treatment, such as the signing of the contracts and consents and the payment of the services provided.

Inform the institution in a timely manner of any adverse reactions that it presents during treatment, either due to the use of medications, or before/after a procedure.

Use the channels arranged by the institution to request information or to express their claims, suggestions, complaints or congratulations.
